To Tiger Woods with respect: Greetings Mr. Woods. My name is Brother Steven Millhorn of Expounder Ministries, you do not know me, and I do not know you; other than your public persona and accomplishments. I have some advice that I’d like to present to you that may help you out of your current dilemma. My advice is two-fold. My first bit of counsel is from a secular point of view, and my 2^nd is of a spiritual nature, a biblical treatise, which is far more important. Let’s quickly dispense with the worldly counsel so we can get onto the life giving words of the spiritual. First, speaking from a clearly secular un-godly point of view, stop moping, stop feeling sorry for yourself. Your wife is gone and rightly so, she has shown her integrity. Only with God’s help will she ever come back to you. You have however, seemingly hundreds of other beauties in which to fill your empty spots. I would also ask you to forget about the many people who are scoffing at you. For the majority of people who are looking down their noses at you and shaking their heads, the majority of them are just as unsaved and on their way to perdition as you are, and would secretly do those things you’ve done if given the money and chance. If you are not going to come to the Father and be born again through His Jesus Christ, then I advise you to call the president of the PGA, inform him of your intention to show up and the Masters golf Tourney, and go about your business as if nothing has happened. Do those people who scorn at you drink?, Most of them do, Do they cuss? Most of them do. Do they have impure thoughts about women, who, if they had the looks and money, would they also be tempted and yield to fine female flesh? A number of them would. I do believe however, amongst your peers in golf, there are a good number of fine family men who do not cuss, drink and commit fornication or adultery. These are the ones who are in silence and holding their tongues, but privately admit that you have lost everything that is and was special about you, you have now become a regular guy. So please, if you’re not going to repent of your great ungodliness, then go ahead and show up in April, pick yourself up, and continue your great golf and get your goals completed. I have imagined in my mind that your goals are to win 25 majors before you’re done, and win 100 tournaments. You cannot do this if you quit now. Your wife is as good as lost to you, and your children should be available to you if you behave. If you’re going to gain the whole world and lose your soul in perdition’s flames forever, you may as well stop moping and come out, out of the darkness and be a regular guy, who likes to drink, cuss, play golf and have women. No matter how much you’ve lost in endorsements, you’re still a millionaire with much potential to earn millions more. After all, with America’s lust and idolatry for sports, they will soon forgive and forget win Old Tiger is holding up the Cup once again. Now for the more important bit of counsel I could give you. Time is short in this old world, the time of repentance of sin and to get right with God is coming to a close. The New World order and the time of the Anti-Christ is coming. Soon, the dollar will be worthless and you must really know that you must be born again to enter into the Kingdom of God. God is very merciful and will accept you just as you are. You must agree though, to become His property, His possession. There are many people in heaven right now who were once, murderers, fornicators, drunkards, cuss-ers, and the like. You know there is a Scripture text in the Bible that says: “For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God” Luke 18:25. And why is this? Is it not because he trusts in uncertain riches, he looks to that to answer his needs, he is self reliant and doesn’t want to humble himself and confess his sins before an all knowing God? You’ve already been taught that it doesn’t profit a man or woman to gain the whole world and lose his own soul in the pits of hell. Look at your predecessors, Princess Di, Michael Jackson, Pavarotti, Elvis, where are these people today? Did they not have the whole world at their fingertips with money and power and pleasures? But did they live holy lives? Where they born again of Christ’s Spirit? I shall not judge them for the Scriptures say for us to judge those within the Church, because God will judge those outside the body of Christ or the Church. So what shall I more say unto thee? Life is but a vapor, you never know when it shall end, look at the recent deaths of sports figures and actresses, all of the sudden: boom it’s over. For it’s appointed unto men once to die, then after this the judgment. Try to put things in perspective, if you’re going to live outside the Covenant of God through Jesus Christ and are on your way to hell, then why make yourself miserable, join the millions of other Americans and worldly people…..get back up and play man play!. Those who are not walking according to Scripture and are condemning you are hypocrites. But if you want to be forgiven of your sins, get your wife and kids back, restore your once good name. Then the only way to do this is through the Cross, in asking Jesus into your heart and be born again of His Spirit. Forget what the world may say. They are not saying anything good right now anyway, you may as well live for and in God, and be on your way to heaven.
